Walter T. Bergen Middle School Students were honored to host Mr. Will Jimeno, a retired Port Authority Police Officer and survivor of 9/11 during a Special Assembly today. Mr. Jimeno, who was trapped under the WTC rubble for more than twelve hours, gave a moving speech to the student body about his experience and asked them to remember three words: faith, hope and love. He encouraged students to never give up in the face of adversity, be good to those around you and to remember that each one of you is special.
