5 Things: Eagle Scout Being Honored and More Bloomingdale News

5 things you need to know about this Friday, especially if you live in Bloomingdale.

It's been a big week for Bloomingdale news here at Tri-Boro Patch and we want to make sure our Passaic County readers don't miss a beat today.

So, in the spirit of our weekly column, we bring you five Bloomingdale items from the past week or upcoming. Here they are:

  1. You need to know James Synol is being recognized this weekend: Synol will be recognized for achieving his Eagle award at the Bloomingdale Methodist Church on Saturday at 1 p.m. and we'll be there taking photos.
  2. You need to know Bloomingdale has a new borough attorney: You can read about the appointment of Fred Semrau, and other appointments, here.
  3. You need to know the BBYC B Squad was honored this week: The youth football players were honored by the mayor and council at this week's meeting. We put together a short video of the presentation here.
  4. You need to know how to vote in our poll regarding the council's Budget Committee: The council majority wants former Council President Linda Huntley to serve on the Budget Committee. Do you think she should be allowed to? Participate in our poll here.
  5. You need to know when to read about the borough's consideration of going paperless: We'll have a story for you right here, on Tri-Boro Patch, Monday morning.
