Bloomingdale police are investigating the damage of several mailboxes in the area of Glenwild Lake after a resident called about hearing a loud sound near the roadway on Sunday.

Police responded at around 11:30 p.m. where the resident said they heard a loud noise and then allegedly saw a black vehicle drive away. Police investigated and found that and several more mailboxes damaged, mostly in the area of South Road and Demarest Road. Police said they were unable to locate the vehicle.
