In recognition of their efforts for creating a movie trailer addressing Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying (HIB), Walter T. Bergen students Rachel Bocchiaro, Veronica Schmidt, Rebecca Wistuk and Ruby Bocchiaro were awarded certificates for a free kid’s meal at TGI Friday’s.

Aside from October being National Bullying Prevention Month, New Jersey schools participated in a “Week of Respect” earlier in the month. At Walter T. Bergen, students participated in various school wide activities to identify ways of addressing HIB in school and at home.
