Butler police are investigating two commercial burglaries at the Bromat Shopping Plaza, on Route 23 North, where cash appears to have been stolen.

Police said the burglaries were reported to have occurred in the early morning on Monday at Pizza King and Nail Unique Salon.

An actor or actors appear to have forced their way through the front doors of the businesses and stolen an "unspecified amount of currency," according to a press release.
