The Borough of Butler received many cards and letters of gratitude from residents and students in the tri-boro thankful for the work of Butler Power & Light in restoring power after Tropical Storm Sandy.
"This is a sampling of what has been received by the Borough of Butler on behalf of the Electric and DPW storm response," Borough Clerk Mary O'Keefe said.
The cards pictured above were sent to the borough by Aaron Decker School students.

Butler Electric was wonderful thru this catastrophe, as always. I watched a crew of 3 trucks work on OLD COW PASTURE LANE on the 4th day. It was like watching a Ballet, about 5 or 6 mem, no shouting , each man knew what to do. Crane up, bucket truck up/down. In about 2 hours tree down, pole back up, neat performance. Please don't expand there is something good about being the right size. Thanks. Tom Hurley
