Butler Receives Grant for Final Phase of Museum Restorations

Museum scheduled to be re-opened next October.

 

The Borough of Butler has received another grant to aid with the renovations to the Butler Museum.

According to NorthJersey.com, the Morris County Historic Preservation Trust Fund has granted the borough $181,600 to go toward the final phase of the exterior renovations on the building.

Volunteers began preparing for renovations on the museum last July and construction has been underway since, with the museum closed. The borough has already received several grants for the project.
