Butler Superintendent Honored

NewBridge Services Executive Director Robert Parker and Butler Public Schools Superintendent Mario D. Cardinale celebrate the achievements of the Pequannock-based non profit agency at Thursday's "The Magic of NewBridge" event, held at The Villa in Mountain Lakes. Cardinale was one of three Morris County recipients of the 2011 Helping People Move Forward Awards.

Butler Public Schools Superintendent Mario Cardinale was honored Thursday for his 30 years as an educator and for teaching more than just subject matter by NewBridge Services, a non profit organization that provides counseling and behavioral healthcare needs to seniors, adults and children.

Cardinale has been working with NewBridge for more than 20 years and was also honored for his commitment to students through the programs they offer, as well as including decision-making as a way to help students to cope with life's challenges.
