Congratulations to Butler High School senior Amy Endres for her accomplishment as a National Merit Scholarship Commended Student.

This Commended Student was selected from the top 50,000 highest-scoring students (out of the 1.5 million who took the PSAT exam last spring). This commendation recognizes students' academic success and potential and may help broaden their educational options.

Amy's ambitious schedule for her senior year includes three AP courses plus Butler High School's Physiology course. Physiology offers students dual enrollment, enabling them to earn both high school and college credit.

Amy's participation in the AP program may also qualify her to win a new Ford automobile in the Route 23 Automall AP Challenge event in 2013.
