Christmas Decorations Wanted for Sandy Victims

Kinnelon residents collecting items to donate to families displaced by storm.

Kinnelon residents are collecting holiday items to be donated to families of the Jersey Shore who were displaced from their homes by Superstorm Sandy.

Particularly stockings and stocking stuffers are requested for donation. The items will then be delivered to several organizations working with the families, such as Sandy's Santa Hands, Operation Jersey Shore Santa and St. Paul's, in Bay Head.

Donations will be accepted until Tuesday. They can be dropped off at 43 Brush Hill Road, 3 Leone Terrace or at the Pearl R. Miller School Holiday breakfast on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
