Butler Bar Fight Results in Man's Eye Socket Cut
Borough resident charged with assault stemming from fist fight at Jiggs Corner Saloon.
A Haskell man was transported to the hospital Saturday after police said his eye socket was injured during a fist fight.
The 34-year-old, whose name was not released, was allegedly involved in the fight with 32-year-old Ryan J. Eutermarks, of Butler, at Jiggs Corner Saloon. Eutermarks was charged with assault.
Police responded to Jiggs around 11 p.m. on a report of a disturbance at the tavern. When they arrived, they reviewed surveillance video that showed Eutermarks strike the 34-year-old without being provoked, police said.
Eutermarks was arrested and transported to the Butler police station. Kinnelon and Riverdale police departments also responded.
