Fallen Tree Shuts Down Fayson Lakes Road
Police advise motorists to seek alternate route.
Fayson Lakes Road, in Kinnelon, was closed Sunday night after a tree came down on the road.
The road was closed between Boonton Avenue and Glendale Terrace beginning at about 8:30 p.m. and until further notice, according to a Nixle alert sent out by the Kinnelon Police Department.

I wonder how many trees that there are in Kinnelon's 18.37 square milesof land area ? If there are an average of 10 per acre that would be well over 100,000 trees, many of those close to public roadways and utility lines but outside of the right of way for them. BTW, there is another .93 square miles of water area.
