Good! I could never quite understand the philosophy that dictates saving measly amounts of money on events that bring the town together and delight children while, at the same time, spending HUGE amounts of money needlessly on fancier, more expensive professionals (who were not particularly effective). Or complaining when we get to save money on a Business Administrator--after driving him away. LOL!

In reference to your comment about driving away a borough administrator, who was the mayor when the BA left, we also had a part time CFO that this same mayor drove away, the prior CFO was under the current mayor also. As far as the professionals costing so much more, this has been a political lie from the beginning that everyone just accepted as gospel, but that also came from the same mayor.....do you see a pattern? Maybe, just maaybe this mayor made it miserable for these people to leave so he could get a nice raise for himself. It is something to think about??

You don't have enough information. Talk to those people who left so you can find out why. What you are saying is quite silly and not really worthy of much response.

We don't need to hold a public event on private property when we have public school grounds to hold the event on. Bailey Avenue should not be the host for a public event. What happens when someone gets hurt? Whose insurance pays?
