With a hayride, pumpkin patch, live music and food, there was something for everyone at Lake Rickabear Sunday as Kinnelon celebrated its first ever K-Fest.

K-Fest was organized by Kinnelon's KAMELOT and was held until 6 p.m. Detours are in effect to get to the camp through Boonton Avenue.

Hats off to the organizers and all the volunteers for your efforts. Great success despite the Kinnelon Road closure. Rickabear is yet another of Kinnelon's hidden gems. Certainly looking forward to this becoming an annual event.

This event was a great success and the credit goes to all the volunteers. Thank you so much to Olga Gilhooley, Kathy Brino and Roberta Lane and their amazing committees of volunteers. Also, thank you to the Kinnelon Board of Education who backed this event 100%. This day was all about Kinnelon and the Kinnelon residents were there to celebrate it. Thank you for this great event and it will happen every year. Kinnelon has pride and Go Colts

Congratulations to all Kinnelonians! Our first K-Fest, it was an event to be proud of! As Carol said, we have many hidden jems, and this celebration is now one of them! Can't wait for next year's!
