Morris County St. Patrick's Day Parade
When/Where: Saturday, noon, in Morristown
Why Go: Because it's one of the biggest St. Paddy's Day parades in the state, that's why!

When/Where: Thursday all day at the Butler Public Library
Why Go: Kids 3 to 6 can hear stories and make a craft take home.
Cost: Free
Chili's Give Back Night for Kinnelon High School Project Graduation
When/Where: Thursday at 4 p.m. at Chili's in Riverdale
Why Go: Because Chili's will be donating 10 percent of all sales to the high school's post-graduation program.

Viewing of "Fireproof"
When/Where: Friday at 7 p.m. at the Kinnelon Reformed Church
Why Go: To watch the movie about a firefighter who fights for his marriage despite is wife seeking a divorce. Also to receive free popcorn, candy and soda while watching it.

Why go: Come to the Giants star's first Garden State appearance since becoming a world champion, and making a appearance on the Grammy Awards.

Why go: Get some support for working moms and moms with babies over 6 months.

Souls4Souls at Mastro Shoes
When/Where: Thursday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mastro Shoes, 20 Mine Brook Road, Bernardsville
Why Go: Because you can get a jumpstart on spring cleaning your closets of gently used shoes to give to an organization that's now conducting a special collection for victims of last week's tornados. Also, radio station WDHA is expected to be on hand with its van giving out free concert tickets by raffle. And Mastro's promises a gift certificate for each pair of donated shoes.

Purim Celebration at Chabad of Basking Ridge
When/Where: Thursday starting at 5 p.m. at Chabad Jewish Center of Basking Ridge, at 3048 Valley Road in Basking Ridge.
Why Go: Have fun, feast and see a featured ventriloquist while celebrating a "joyous" Jewish holiday.

Spanish and Latin American Guitar Duo
When/Where: Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Farmstead Arts center, 650 King George Road, Basking Ridge.
Why Go: Here's a rare opportunity to spend a Sunday afternoon hearing the award-winning Newman & Oltman Guitar Duo perform Spanish and Latin American music by Piazzolla, Rodriguez, Lennon/McCartney, Machado, and more in an intimate setting, without a long trip.
Cost: Tickets are $20 or $10 for seniors and students, and can be purchased online, or at the Farmstead during gallery hours.
