Injured Bicyclists Issued Summonses
Police said bicyclists failed to keep right before Fayson Lakes Road accident.
Two bicyclists that were injured in an accident on Fayson Lakes Road Saturday morning and transported by medevac helicopters to Morristown Hospital were issued summonses for failing to keep right, Kinnelon police said.
David D. Goldstein, 42, of Bloomfield, suffered from broken ribs and a severe contusion on his left leg, Kinnelon police Lt. John Schwartz said, and Earl P. Perretti, 56, of Montclair suffered a head injury.
Sgt. Joe Fidducia and Ptl. Sean Patalita responded to the scene near 37 Fayson Lakes Road at 10 a.m. Witnesses told police that Ethan F. Wood, 20, of Kinnelon, was driving a 2002 Honda north on Fayson Lakes Road when the bicyclists allegedly rode their bicycles into his lane, hitting his vehicle.
Goldstein and Peretti were transported to Stonybrook School where they were airlifted by two helicopters, the New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit and the Atlantic Health Aviation helicopter.
Tri-Boro First Aid Squad and the Kinnelon Volunteer Fire Co. and paramedics from Chilton Hospital assisted at the scene.

There should be NO bicyclists on fayson lakes road! Hopefully this will keeps others from doing the same. There just isn't room! In addition, if riders do decide to risk their lives, they should full well know the rules of the road!

Sorry "Scondo" if then need to make any donations it should be to the Kinnelon Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad. Although the PBA wouldn't hurt, i don't think they fall on the top of the list.
