Controversially, Vick is known for having spent 18 months in prison after being convicted on charges of running a dogfighting operation. Some Butler residents do not agree with Vick's appearance and have formed a Facebook page to express their frustrations.

While Robbins said inviting Vick to the store does not mean he condones dogfighting, "It was three or four years ago, people do change. He's coming here to do what he's paid to do."
