Most Dangerous Main Road in All the Tri-Boro [POLL]

The results of each borough's poll are in. Now we want to know what you think is the most dangerous main road in all of the tri-boro.

Over the past three days, we've asked Tri-Boro Patch readers in each of the three boroughs which are the most dangerous main roads in Kinnelon, Butler and Bloomingdale.

The results of the individual polls are in and as follows*:

*Results are as of Thursday at 10 p.m.

Now we want to know what our readers think is the most dangerous main road of all three towns, when compared with each other. We've added Route 23, perhaps the most main road for all tri-boro towns, to the mix and we want to know what you think.

I've lived in all three towns. Fayson Lakes Road is far and away the most dangerous road in the Tri-boro.

From the perspective of someone who has dispatched the emergency services of all 3 boroughs, responded with Butler FD and Tri-Boro FAS, I profess that NJ State Highway Route 23 by far has the highest number of motor vehicles accicents, many with injuries with many of those serious and even fatal injuries. Starting in the southeast Route 23 enters the Tri-Boro area at the Riverdale/Kinnelon boundary by Mathews Avenue / Cutlass Road (Kosco Harley Davidson), enters Butler at the driveways for Applebee's / Wendy's, enters Kinnelon at the Maple Lake Brook midway between the Maple Lake Road overpass and the "High Crest Bridge", enters West Milford Township in the center of that long viaduct, and then southbound Route 23 stretches from a few hundred feet southeast of the North Gate Road entrance to Smoke Rise Club and then leaves Tri-Boro area at the City of Newark's water treatment plant. We have major wrecks on a regular basis at all of the signalized intersections but not nearly as bad as they were in past decades.
