No. 75 Bus Route To Stop Running On Saturday

Move is part of NJ Transit's plan to cut operating expenses.

NJ Transit’s No. 75 bus, which runs between Butler and Newark, will no longer operate beginning Saturday, NorthJersey.com is reporting.

The move is part of the company’s plan to cut operating costs.

The route runs through Wayne. It makes stops at , the , and the Willowbrook Mall.

NJ Transit has eliminated four routes but the No. 75 line is the only one eliminated in Passaic County. The moves will save the company $2.5 million.

Public hearings on the proposed changes were held in June.
