There is a new law on the books that you MUST cross at a crosswalk otherwise you are "J" walking with a $54 fine.
The smae hold true for waling in a parking lot, you MUST walk in the crosswalks or you are "J" walking.
Many drivers and residents are not aware of this law.
The police rarely enfore it, but, its on the books.
Cross at the cross walks and not inbetween......be SAFE !
