Kids today have a hard time believing that BHS is the "mother" mother high school to so many others. Pompton Lakes was the first to build its own opening in 1932 taking with it Wayne and Oakland. Then in the late 1950's the others began doing the same with Pequannock, Wanaque, Ringwood, West Milford, Jefferson's Milton/Oak Ridge section leaving for West Milford for awhile, and finally Kinnelon also taking Riverdale.

There's my son to the far left of picture #10! Congrats my boy. Proud of you. (And your sister before as another BHS grad.)
