Police Search For Clues in Apparent Kinnelon Home Burglary
Homeowner said residence was burglarized while they were on vacation.
Police are investigating a reported burglary at a Cherry Tree Lane home in Kinnelon.
According to Kinnelon police, a homeowner had reported that while they were away on vacation from May 28 through June 4, it appeared as though someone had broken into their home. Police also said the homeowner noticed a rear window was left open, the screen to the window removed.
The homeowners reported an undetermined amount of jewelry to be taken from the home.
The Kinnelon Police Detective Bureau is working on the case, and anyone with information is asked to call 973-838-5400.
