Tri-Boro Patch had another tie this week when we asked readers to choose their favorite place to get a hot dog.

After using our points system, which takes into account votes in our poll, ratings on each business' Directory page and reviews in the comments, Tommy's Franks was declared the winner of Tri-Boro Patch's Readers' Choice 2012 contest for Best Place to Get a Hot Dog.

Following closely behind was 7-Eleven in Bloomingdale, which received 227 votes in our poll! But in the end, Tommy's Franks won the tie-breaker for having more comments in favor of the business on the article.

Thanx to all the brhoo-haa-ha about Tommy's Franks, I made a special visit just to see if he is the real deal! I am not a big fan of hot dogs but occasional go back to my childhood just to stop at a road-side stand or cart! Realy, you have to let this man do his thing and keep the cart downtown! It is absolutely a good thing for our community! Great dogs, Tommy!
