I highly reccomend Lakeland Bank. It is locally owned with the founders being several Butler High School alumni from West Milford Township's Oak Ridge and Newfoundland sections. I have had my oldest account with them since 1974 when the first of the two Butler offices opened and now there are almost 50 branches from the Hudson River to the Delaware River. My wife, kids and myself have checking accounts and home equity loans from Lakeland.
