What Did You Think of Bloomingdale's 4th of July Fireworks?
Borough brings back Independence Day celebration with a bang.
After a brief hiatus, Bloomingdale brought back the Fourth of July fireworks last Friday at the Walter T. Bergen School.
Last year, the fireworks display was cancelled in Bloomingdale and no fireworks were shown in Kinnelon. At one point, the two boroughs considered having a joint fireworks celebration.
In addition to the bright, burning show Friday, kids enjoyed carnival rides, games and food and families came together from Bloomingdale and beyond.
Check out our photo gallery from this year's Bloomingdale fireworks here.
For those of you who watched the fireworks display, we want to know what you thought.

They were the best I've seen here in town. The groundworks were very unusual and the overhead fireworks covered a wider swath then most. I didn't talk to a single person who wasn't impressed with them. They started kind of late, but it was worth the wait. It's one of the few occasions when people in the town can meet one another and share in a common celebration. I'm glad the Mayor pushed for this.

The fireworks were great, I believe the best that I recall and I would like to applaud the people that made that celebration that much special.
However, one thing that made me upset was that we didn't start as we should and that is National Anthem.
