It's home to me having been brought home at the age of 3 days from St Joe's Hospital in Paterson back in 1952. It's been home to my father's side of the family since 1900. My father's mother's side was in West Milford Township going back to at least the 1820's. My mother's mother's side was in the Ringwood and Midvale parts of old Pompton Township going back to at least the 1840's. So it is home.

Almost forgot about my father's father's side coming to Boonton during the Irish potato famine era in the mid 19th century.

Love so much about Kinnelon but wish there was a Main Street that had a cafe, ice cream parlor, billiard hall, mom and pop retails stores and a rec center...I know I have big wishes and will probably have to move to get that one day...It's just that I experienced all of that growing up and have to say I really miss it!
