Willowbrook Park and Ride Spaces Reduced, Bus Schedule Changed

NJ Transit implements changes for commuters this holiday season.

All buses to and from New York City will only operate from the Willowbrook Mall Park and Ride stop during the holiday season.

The Park and Ride bus stop is located across from Bloomingdale’s.

There will be fewer parking spaces for commuters to utilize.

Approximately 40 Park and Ride spaces located along Willowbrook Boulevard and closest to the Park and Ride bus shelter will be temporarily closed.

This area will be used as a temporary bus stop for buses when the Shopper’s Stop is closed to bus traffic. Customers who park in this area on weekdays should remove their cars from this area by no later than 2 p.m.

Between Dec. 15 and Dec. 21, Park and Ride customers are encouraged to use the Wayne/Route 23 Transit Center and the Mothers Park and Ride on Route 23 North. Extra peak-period bus service will operate from these locations as needed.

In the event that lots are full at Willowbrook, customers should use the Transit Center and Mothers parking lots.

The following bus routes will board from the Park and Ride all day on weekends beginning Saturday, Dec. 1 through Monday, Dec. 24, and between 4 and 8 p.m. on weekdays beginning Monday, Dec. 17 through Friday, Dec. 21: 191, 193, 194, 195, 197, and 198 among others.
