“The Many Moods of Me” Art Show

with Vikki Anderson

Vikki Anderson has always had an interest in art and anything creative.  She had taken many classes and workshops throughout her life in abstract and realism.  Vikki prefers abstract paintings because it takes a great deal of planning to make sense of disconnected objects and images.  She had disliked abstract paintings early on because she felt it was just random imagery put down on a canvas without any sense of order or direction.  But with training and practice, she learned that it was a harder choice because the artwork had to speak to so many people on many different levels.  Some people don’t even know if they like it or not, but as long as they have an opinion about the piece, the artist’s job is done. 

The mediums for this art show are oil, acrylic, watercolor, watercolor and paper and graphite pencil.  Vikki enjoy all kinds of art and hopes that you enjoy her show at the Kinnelon Library for the month of March.

MARCH       “The Many Moods of Me” Art Show at the Kinnelon Public Library.  Meet the Artist Reception will be on Sunday, March 10 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM.  Please join us on the second floor to see Vikki’s work and have a cup of tea/coffee and munchies.  There will be a drawing for an oil paint set for those attending the reception.  www.kinnelonlibrary.org for hours.
