DESCRIPTION:Looking for a modern  take on an historic culture in a warm\,
   welcoming atmosphere? The Jewish  Cultural School &amp\; Society  (JCS
 S)--a &ldquo\;secular synagogue&rdquo\; rooted in  secular humanistic Ju
 daism  serving Essex\, Union\, Morris\, Passaic and  Bergen counties--we
 lcomes  families of any faith (or none) to visit our  Sunday classes for
   students in grades 1 through 7:\n\n The "Pre-Alef" class (1st and 2nd 
 graders) meets twice monthly.\nOlder  grades move each Sunday to differe
 nt teachers and subjects:  History\,  Literature\, Current Events\, conv
 ersational Hebrew\, and  Cultural Arts. \nThe "Hey" class (grades 7-8) y
 ear culminates in a graduation/B&rsquo\;nai Mitzvah ceremony. \n\nAll  g
 rades also participate\, along with JCSS member families  and friends\, 
  in a variety of holiday celebrations throughout the school  year. And o
