The Kinnelon Borough Council will hear from two groups who will discuss developing a new athletic field in town.
“We are not discussing any specifics, it’s just a general discussion,” said Mayor Michael Collins. “We don’t have an adequate number of fields in town to all of our sports programs.”
Nearly all of the borough, 97 percent of it, is a preservation area with several restrictions on development as required by the state Department of Environmental Protection. This makes developing in town potentially difficult.
The meeting will take place at borough hall at 8 p.m. To view an agenda, click here.
