Kinnelon Students Collect 1,100 Books for Reach Out and Read New Jersey

Stonybrook and Kinnelon High students team up to help bring books to clinics in Elizabeth and Dover.

The Stonybrook Student Council teamed up with Kinnelon H.S. Students - Maria Matthews, Andrew Koutsokoumnis, and Peter Matthews in support of Reach Out and Read (ROR) - a national non-profit which promotes literacy by bringing children's books into the waiting rooms of primary care pediatric practices.  Its goal is to target at-risk areas so that more children start kindergarten with the pre-literacy skills they need to succeed in the classroom.  The books collected will be distributed to clinics in Elizabeth and Dover.
