The Stonybrook Student Council teamed up with Kinnelon H.S. Students - Maria Matthews, Andrew Koutsokoumnis, and Peter Matthews in support of Reach Out and Read (ROR) - a national non-profit which promotes literacy by bringing children's books into the waiting rooms of primary care pediatric practices.  Its goal is to target at-risk areas so that more children start kindergarten with the pre-literacy skills they need to succeed in the classroom.  The books collected will be distributed to clinics in Elizabeth and Dover.

Mrs. West + The Stonybrook Student Council + KHS students = a winning combination! Congratulations to Andrew, Maria, Peter, and the entire Stonybrook Student Council. Thank you for bringing the gift of literacy to children in need. I'm so proud to have been your principal.
