2014 Scholarship Program

Each year, The Tri-Boro Area Chamber of Commerce awards four $1000 scholarships.  One scholarship will be awarded to a student residing in Bloomingdale, one in Butler, one in Kinnelon and one in Riverdale.

Eligibility requirements:

1.      Applicant must reside in one of the four towns served by The Tri-Boro Area Chamber of Commerce (Bloomingdale, Butler, Kinnelon or Riverdale).

2.      Applicant must be graduating High School Senior.

3.      Applicant must be planning on furthering his/her education at a Trade School or College.

4.      Applicant must demonstrate dedication to Community Service.

5.      Financial need.

Application Process:

Please submit an essay, 500 words or less, to the address listed below, prior to May 1, 2014.

Kindly, cover the following topics in the essay:

1.      What are your current or future plans of study?  If you are undecided, tell us about your various fields of interest.

2.      How will this scholarship help you in your career goals?

3.      Tell us about a personal achievement that makes you proud.

4.      What do you do to contribute to the community?

5.      Please, express how this scholarship will meet a financial need.

6.      Be sure to include your name, address and contact phone number.
