5 Things: Kinnelon Kids to Parade in Costume

Halloween in November to be celebrated in tri-boro and more.

By now you probably know that from Monday to today. What you may not know is that will be honoring this by having their Halloween parades Friday at school.

However, the schools are asking parents not to have their children arrive to school in costume. That's one thing you need to know this Friday morning, but here are all five:

  1. You Need to Know Not to Let Your Kids Bring Fake Weapons to School: If your child is dressed up as a cowboy, police officer or ninja, hold off on letting them bring the fake weapons to school. sent an alert via textcaster asking parents to leave them at home and to not let children come into school in their costumes, rather to let them change there.

  3. You Need to Know Where You Can No Longer Buy a Costume: If you're a procrastinator and were hoping to pick up a last minute costume from the , think again as the store is now closed.
  4. You Need to Know Where to Get Halloween Candy on Sale: Just about anywhere at this point. in Butler or in Kinnelon for discounted goodies.
  5. You Need to Know Where to See Photos of Kids in Costumes on Saturday: Well, right here, of course! We will be out snapping photos of trick-or-treaters Friday night, but the best way to ensure your kid has a place on Patch is to submit a photo to and we'll add it to our gallery.
