All-Star Basketball Player Also a Member of Student Council

Kinnelon-Butler Patch Whiz Kid of the Week: Robert Voli

  • Accomplishment: Robert maintains First Honors at St. Anthony's School. He also plays football for the Bloomingdale Chiefs (now the BBYC Bulldogs) as a quarterback and a wide receiver. This past winter he wrestled for BBYO and made it to the regionals in his division. He also played basketball for Bloomingdale Recreation and was chosen to be on the all-star team.  This spring he is the starting catcher for his in-town league and his travel baseball teams. In 2009 he was awarded the Tony Rago Memorial Award for "his leadership, sportsmanship and dedication on the playing field," for his football team. This year he was also voted by students in grades 4th to 8th at St. Anthony's to be a member of the school's Student Council.
  • Key To Awesomeness:  Robert is also an active member of his church, where he volunteers his time as an altar server. At times he is also called upon to do readings at church and acted as school ambassador during Catholic Schools week. He is also a member of St. Anthony's drama club and has performed in all of their productions since he was in the first grade. When Robert is not busy with his school work and volunteering his time, he enjoys spending time with his family. Robert has a twin sister and twin eight-year-old brothers.
