Butler Day Gets Borough Approval for Next Year

Event was held for the first time in May.

The Butler Borough Council gave the go ahead to begin planning for Butler Day next year.

The event’s organizers are in the initial planning stages for the event, NorthJersey.com reported Thursday.

The inaugural Butler Day was held in May. Dozens of business, churches, and community groups had a presence at the community-wide event. Hundreds of people attended.

Mayor Robert Alviene told the website that people liked Butler Day and that it was “enjoyable.”
