Chain convenient store is celebrating its birthday Monday by offering free 7.11 oz. Slurpees to customers.

For those who do not know, a Slurpee is an icy beverage that comes in a variety of fruit flavors and Coca-Cola brand flavors.

The tri-boro has two 7-Elevens: one at 1284 Route 23 North in Butler and another at 2 Riverside Square in Bloomingdale.
