The Bloomingdale Regional Animal Shelter Society (BASS) will be partnering with the North Shore Animal League to bring the TriBoro area some special opportunities to take home a new pet.

The North Shore Animal League will be providing its adoption van to bring kittens, puppies, dogs and cats to the Kinnelon Petco on Route 23 South.

BASS holds adoption events at Petco every Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Cat adoptions are held at Petsmart in Wayne on Friday and Saturday.

“All pets are spayed or neutered and up to date on their vaccinations, including kittens,” said Ellen Ribitzki, President of BASS.

According to its website, BASS is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization in operation since 1996. They are a group of volunteers very dedicated to the sheltering and care of homeless animals in the community operating out of a foster home network.
