Many in Kinnelon, Bloomingdale Still Without Power

Chief said high elevation and amount of trees caused high number of power outages.

Many Kinnelon and Bloomingdale residents remain without power, particularly in Smoke Rise, Tuesday as Butler's power is nearly 100 percent restored according to Butler Police Chief Ed Card.

Card said Butler Electric, the power company that services the tri-boro, has worked tirelessly and 24/7 the past several days to restore power and service homes with down wires.

"In Bloomingdale, there's still outages and I know they're feverishly working in Kinnelon," Card said.
