Meet Salem: An Animated Black Cat
Loveable, adoptable pets from tri-boro animal shelters updated weekly.
FUN FACTS: Salem came to the shelter and immediately showed off, running around and playing with toys. His favorite is the feather toy, which he has a ton of fun with. He is very well-behaved in the house and will be a great addition to your family.
Salem may not seem like the cliche black cat (he is named after Salem, MA, which is known for its history with witches), but he has some magical talents. He will "speak" when he is looking for attention. He also enjoys time on a person's shoulder as they walk around.
