Parking May Be Prohibited in Front of Bloomingdale Borough Hall

Bloomingdale Council will vote on ordinance Tuesday.

The Bloomingdale Borough Council will consider passing an ordinance to ban parking in front of Borough Hall due to safety concerns.

The council will take a vote on the ordinance Tuesday night.

Police Chief Joseph Borell recommended prohibiting parking in front of borough hall “due to limited sight vision issues” caused by vehicles that are parking in front of the building.

The ordinance would prohibit on parts of several nearby streets including, Bailey Avenue, Bogue Drive, Captolene Avenue, Crane Avenue, Grove Street, Hamburg Turnpike, Hillside Drive, and other thoroughfares.
