Sandy Victims to Benefit From Bloomingdale Holiday Concert

School collects more than a dozen toys to be donated as well.

Walter T. Bergen School students and staff members raised $150 for Superstorm Sandy relief during the school's annual holiday concert Wednesday night.

School Principal Frank Verducci said more than a dozen toys were also collected at the event. The concert, performed mostly by the middle school chorus and band, included performances by Samuel R. Donald School students as well. The younger students sang six numbers, Verducci said: "Oh Christmas Tree," "Carol of the Bells," "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer," "Dreidel, Dreidel," "Frosty the Snowman," and "Jingle Bells."
