Strap on Some Snowshoes For an Outdoor Adventure

Get your kids out of the house and into some snowshoes this week.

Winter can be a somewhat boring time of year, with many kids feeling stranded inside due to cold weather. But if you're feeling adventurous, there are a few things you could do with your kids to entertain them this week, including a Snowshoe Adventure, at Pyramid Mountain, and a Woodland Adventure mapping program, at the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center, in Chatham.

Once again, we bring you the Grab & Go Kids Planner. It's our weekly list of kid-friendly activities and places to try out. You're time-pressed enough, so we're happy to do the research and find the best things to do and places to go, both locally and within reasonable striking distance.

As always, help us build the planner with your own suggestions and tips—if we missed anything, just leave us a comment letting us know!
