Chipmunks, wild turkeys, and over 100 kinds of birds, to name just a few. Now is a great time to get out in the fresh air before the cold winter is here. Do some shopping, take a walk, or maybe take in a show.

Fall Drama: You Have the Right to Remain Dead 
When/Where:
 Friday, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. a.m., at Kinnelon High School, 121 Kinnelon Rd.
Why Go: Watching students perform on stage always brings a sense of pride.

Vendor and Craft Fair
When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m., at the Butler Fire Dept., 26-28 Carey Ave. in Butler
Why Go: There will be lots of vendors, crafts and gifts to buy before the holiday rush starts.

Tyke Hike
When/Where: Saturday, 1 p.m., at Pyramid Mountain, 472a Boonton Ave. in Boonton
Why Go: Kids 2-6 will have a ball scouting for animals, and won't even know it's educational.

St. Anthony's Columbiettes' Comedy Night
When/Where: Saturday, 7:30 p.m., at Knights of Columbus Hall, 65 Hamburg Turnpike in Butler
Why Go: Laughter is the best medicine, and beer and wine are included. Grab your friends, and bring along some snacks.

5-K Turkey Trot and 1-Mile Fitness Walk
When/Where: Sunday, 1 p.m., at Our Lady of the Magnificat Church, 2 Miller Rd. in Kinnelon
Why Go: You can get some aerobics in before the holidays, and you'll be supporting congenital heart defects.

Why Go: To go hoppin' where things are poppin' and enjoy the hits of the 1950s-80s, dancing and food.
