Music and Dance Party Benefit Saturday Night in Butler

Saturday, September 24 from 6:00pm to 11:00pm a benefit music and dance party will be held at the Butler Knights of Columbus and all are invited. The musical entertainment is hosted by the band Captain Weej, and admission will include food, beer, wine and soda. Other bands on the roster are: Chain Reaction, Greased Wheezer, and Montes Python. Organizer Chris Cardillo says “If you play an instrument, we'll probably close out with an all out jam, so bring your ax!” Over 100 tickets have been sold, and there are room for 100 more. The event is to benefit Marty Sisco of Butler, a member of the band Captain Weej, who has been battling cancer since May, 2010 and is headed for treatment in California. The organizers are gratefully seeking donations of services and items for the raffle. Logos and business cards of donaters will be displayed.
