Butler Fans Will Go Pink at Football Game Against Hopatcong

Clubs team up for breast cancer awareness effort Friday.

Instead of sporting the typical blue and gold clothing Bulldogs fans are normally seen in at Butler High School football games, two school groups will be encouraging a "Pink Out" Friday.

Fans will be asked to wear as much pink clothing as possible as the Bulldogs take the football field against Hopatcong High School. The "Pink Out" is being sponsored by Butler High School's DECA business club and student support group, "The Dawg Pound." The groups are teaming up with the Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and will be collecting donations at the gate to benefit the foundation.

Students already began collecting donations at the high school leading up to the game, with more than $200 raised for the cause.
