Black Friday 2012: Show Us Your Lines

Find deals on Twitter and Instagram via our Black Friday New Jersey hashtag #bfnj

On Thanksgiving, timing is everything — proper coordination between bird, beans and stuffing can be the difference between the perfect stress-free meal with loved ones or a complete kitchen catastrophe.

On Black Friday, getting on the right line at just the right time might save you hours and help you snag that perfect gift at a once-in-a-lifetime price.

Patch is here to turn that dream into a reality and make smart shopping on Black Friday ridiculously easy.

Find us on Instagram and Twitter and connect with us and local readers via our Black Friday New Jersey hashtag #bfnj.

We'll be sharing up-to-the-minute deals, 140-character anecdotes, and photos and video from the front lines of consumerism.

Show us those long lines, share your holiday horror stories, upload photos of people losing their cool over the hottest holiday tsotchkes, or just send a shout out to your hometown.

When you're bored on line on your smartphone Friday updating Twitter or Instagram, just make sure to type our simple hashtag "#bfnj" at the end of every message.

It's an easy way to make sure Patch editors — and your local community — see what's going on at the mall or your local stores.

Wow, everyone needs to relax! This article is about Black Friday shopping, not Thanksgiving shopping! I spent a wonderful day with my family on Thursday and was out shopping on Friday! You can do both when it's 2 different days!!

A minor pre-taste of things if the fin. system goes out control.

I personally think Black Friday is ridiculous and I never take part...but just because someone does go shopping on Black Friday does not mean they don't care about their family. That's just ridiculous and incredibly judgmental...

Exactly...I personally never shop on Black Friday, but what is with the accusations that doing so makes you a bad person that lacks family values? People are so judgmental.

Nothing was ever said about Friday only the Holiday. Some people are sooo sour and mean. Cheer up .
