Jigg's: Where Rock & Roll Meets A Good Meal

Jigg's Corner Music Saloon is a great place to enjoy a bite to eat and listen to some good old rock and roll.

opened in September of 1987 and has been family-owned and operated since.

“It started as a poor man’s Hard Rock Café. Jigg’s has quality food and a fun time,” said Owner Tim McAllister.

With several beers on tap, Jigg’s also has their own brand of sodas. The first thing I noticed on the menu is their wings. My guest is a big fan of chicken wings and had to give them a try. He ordered the 10 piece ($5.95) and was extremely satisfied from the first bite until the last lick of hot sauce.

I went for the bar pie ($6.50), essentially a personal-sized pizza, which was completely satisfying, in my opinion, with the cheese cooked perfectly to my liking (a little well done) and with the crust still soft. With many pizzerias around, one wouldn't think of Jigg’s for pizza, but it hit the spot for sure! For his meal, my guest went with the hamburger ($3.95) and ordered the double patty (+$2.50) with Cheddar cheese (+$.50) and a side of battered onion rings ($2.50).

As we enjoyed our meals, we wondered why we didn’t frequent Jigg's more often. Jigg’s Corner Music Saloon has a great comfortable atmosphere, great food and their servers are very personable. The walls are filled with rock and roll memorabilia and every time a steak was brought out, I could almost taste it as the scent of sizzling steak whizzed on by me. The prices are affordable and it is a great place to go to grab some live entertainment along with a good meal.
