Small Business Saturday Brings Local Shops Together

A group of local businesses will come together to celebrate Small Business Saturday and offer patrons specials and deals to kick off the holiday season.

The businesses, which include Butler Veterinary Hospital, Flowers Galore & More, Soul Journey, Suzette's Stained Glass Gallery, Taste of Dawn, Glenwild Garden Center and the Trinity Center (Pompton Lakes), will all be participating in a giveaway basket raffle drawing where more than $100 worth of gifts and items will be given to the winning customer. Customers will be able to enter the drawing for the basket in all of the stores excluding the Butler Veterinary Hospital and the Trinity Center.

Additionally, some of the stores are offering their own deals for Small Business Saturday.

• Soul Journey will be offering $5 psychic readings, free gift-wrapping and a 15 percent discount on purchases of $100 or more. Refreshments will be served as well on Small Business Saturday.
• Taste of Dawn will be offering discounts on a selection of in-store merchandise.
• Flowers Galore & More is offering 10 percent off any purchase.
• Suzette's Stained Glass Gallery is offering 10 percent off any glass purchase.
