A Second Chance for Candy With Tri-Boro Trick-or-Treating

Halloween may have come and gone, but the trick-or-treating is coming this Friday as Kinnelon and Butler observe the holiday that was after Saturday's storm. Kids will be out trick-or-treating from the time they get out of school on.
There are a few more activities happening this weekend in the tri-boro and beyond. Here's what's coming up:
Trick-or-Treating
When/Where: On Friday in Kinnelon and Butler from 3 p.m. through the night
Why Go: Because the boroughs of Halloween due to down trees and wires.
Cost: Free

Blood Drive
When/Where: At the on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go: The Women of Smoke Rise are sponsoring the blood drive and asking donors in good health to give blood. Free cholesterol and glucose screenings will also be available.

Fall Rummage Sale
When/Where: At the on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go: To sift through and purchase items such as clothing, furniture, toys books and more.

Market Street Mission Coat Giveaway
When/Where: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, on the Green in Morristown
Why Go: You are in need of a good, warm coat.
Cost: Free
Bones, Stones and the Undertaker
When/Where: 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5., at , Morristown
Why Go: This is the Morris County Tourism Bureau's last tour of the year, and they put on some excellent tours.
Cost: $10
The Miles Davis Experience: 1949-1959
When/Where: 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at , Morristown
Why Go: You want to experience Miles Davis
Cost: $27-$47 (or free )
When/Where: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 6, in Parking Lot No. 10, Spring and Morris streets (behind Dunkin' Donuts)
Why Go: You want to enjoy farmers market shopping late in the season.
Cost: Bring your wallet
When/Where: Friday from 6-11 p.m. at the Old Mt. Tabor Firehouse at 5 Simpson Ave., Parsippany
Why Go: Final chance to be scared out of your wits for Halloween while helping a good cause (Check for special kid-friendly hours!)
Cost: $6 per body; funds raised benefit the volunteer fire department
When/Where: Sunday at 8:30 am at the , 1 Campus Drive, Parsippany
Why Go: To walk or run a 5K and raise funds to help people suffering from the dreaded disease.
Cost: Free
Where/When: Bridgewater Township Library from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Why Go: The American Historical Theatre will be presenting an adaptation of Washington Irving's classic tale, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," with a one-man interpretation of the story of the headless horseman. There will be a discussion following about Irving himself.

Why Go: To watch a fuddy-duddy professor spent a summer in their Maine cabin connecting with nature and coping with changing family values.
