'American Idol' Chatter: Discuss Elise Testone Wednesday

Just nine episodes separate Kinnelon native Elise Testone from the coveted "American Idol" title and a $1 million recording contract.

Testone has had ups and downs on the 11th season of American Idol, finding herself in the bottom three twice this season. and apparently won over the at-home audience.

The 28-year-old Coastal Carolina University graduate is popular on the Charleston live-music scene. She resides in Mount Pleasant where she teaches at the local music studio, .

Voting begins just after the Wednesday show and expires two hours after the show's completion for East Coast residents. Results are announced on Thursday.
